Live financial reports, explained in plain language
Profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and custom reports update in real time as transactions happen — with AI on hand to explain what changed and why.
Financial reports are only useful if they're current and understandable. Glount generates your profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and custom reports in real time from the same ledger that powers invoicing, expenses, and inventory — so there's no month-end scramble to reconcile numbers from five different tools.
The underlying ledger and statement formats are being built to support both IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and US GAAP presentation, so the same core reporting engine works whether your business — or your auditor — reports under IFRS, US GAAP, or both. That's separate from VAT and tax handling, which is configured by region (UAE and GCC first).
Every report can also come with a plain-language AI summary, so you don't need an accounting background to understand what moved and why it matters.

How AI works inside Financial Reports
- Writes a plain-language summary of each report highlighting what changed and why
- Flags unusual variances against budget or prior periods
- Forecasts cash flow forward based on outstanding invoices, bills, and historical patterns
- Answers direct questions like “why did marketing spend increase last month?”

Questions about Financial Reports
Does Glount support IFRS and US GAAP?
Yes — financial reporting is being designed to align with both IFRS and US GAAP presentation and recognition rules, so the core accounting engine works for businesses reporting under either standard, or both (for example, a UAE entity reporting to a US-GAAP parent company). This is separate from VAT/tax compliance, which is configured by region and starts with the UAE and GCC.
Are reports updated in real time?
Yes — because reports pull from the same ledger as invoicing, expenses, and inventory, they reflect transactions as soon as they're recorded, not after a month-end close.
Can I export reports for my accountant or auditor?
Yes, standard exports (PDF, Excel/CSV) are planned so you can share reports with your accountant, investors, or auditors.
Will there be industry-specific report templates?
We're starting with the core statements every business needs, then expanding to templates tailored by industry based on early access feedback.
